About the new look of the newsletter

We're planning for the future and trying to make compiling and publishing the newsletter as efficient as possible. Diigo is a bookmarking site with an automatic blog publishing feature. It has some drawbacks: the posts the automatic interface creates can only be styled somewhat and don't have cuts, and they can't be edited after posting. If you're curious you can see the results of experimenting with the posting functionality in [personal profile] white_collar_roundup.

The advantages of diigo are that posting and formatting are automatic after the fanworks have been bookmarked, so it cuts down on work; and the computer can sort the links according to any tag, so you can quickly and easily find precisely the kind of fanwork you're looking for.

For this edition of the newsletter I, [personal profile] noracharles, have only separated out the most common categories, so you'll have to look at the tags to see if the art is an icon collection or a vid, or if the "other pairing" is June/Neal or Peter/Elizabeth. But when we're satisfied that the automatic posting works reliably, you can have any category you find convenient as long as it's something the compilers can tag according to the author/artists header.

Please feel free to comment to this post with what sort of categories you would find useful!
